Supervised Visitation Monitor
Job Description
Hope House is seeking detail oriented, trauma-informed professionals to join our team of as-needed/PRN Supervised Visitation Monitors. This role is responsible for monitoring and documenting supervised visitation sessions and/or exchanges between non-custodial parents and their children at the agency’s Guardian Program.
• Location: Guardian Program Facility – Independence (On-Site)
• PRN, Non-Exempt, Hourly
• Starting Rate of Pay: $22.60 per hour
• Schedule: variable. The Program operates Monday – Friday evenings and on Sundays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise in-person visits and/or monitor exchanges between children and their non-custodial parent.
• Intervene when appropriate, including terminating visits or exchanges when necessary, to protect the safety and welfare of families using the program.
• Provide detailed and precise written documentation of each visitation and/or exchange.
• Provide testimony to courts as required and/or requested.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
o Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker (LBSW); OR
o Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or comparable human services field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Previous experience working with survivors of domestic violence
• Licensed or licensed-eligible counselor/therapist.
