VESSA Unpaid Leave Information Sheet

Under Missouri’s Victims Economic Safety and Security Act (VESSA), Missouri employers of 20 or more employees must adjust their unpaid leave policies for victims of sexual or domestic violence and their family and household members. This one-page document serves as an overview of HB432 and relevant statutes: Section 285.625 RSMo., Section 285.630 RSMo., Section 285.635 RSMo., Section 285.665 RSMo. and Section 295.770 RSMo.
