Child Abuse Resource Prosecutor

Job Description

Applications are now being accepted by the Missouri Office of Prosecution Services (MOPS) for the position of Child Abuse Resource Prosecutor. The successful applicant is an experienced prosecutor who will provide: continuing professional education programs (including regional trainings, webinars and assistance with conference coordination); consultation with local prosecutors in complex prosecutions; trial assistance to prosecutors in complex cases; service as special prosecutor in cases of conflicts of interest; technical assistance and other resources to Missouri prosecutors, law enforcement officers and other allied professionals to improve their ability to investigate and prosecute child abuse in Missouri in a multi-disciplinary team setting; and serve as a liaison with relevant commitees, task forces and victim advocacy groups.

The Child Abuse Resource Prosecutor may be assigned other work as needed. The annual salary range will be discussed upon application. MOPS is an equal opportunity employer.
