MCADSV educates professionals how to provide quality, compassionate services to victims of domestic and sexual violence.

MCADSV provides opportunities for alliance, networking and communication among those working in the Missouri movement to end violence against women.

MCADSV coordinates a schedule of regular meetings in each of MCADSV’s seven regions throughout the state. MCADSV also facilitates communications with and among its members through its 30 separate listservs. In addition, MCADSV’s website serves as a public resource for information on violence against women, as well as for information on service providers in the state.

MCADSV works to establish effective partnerships with government agencies to ensure that effective programs and policies are implemented in Missouri. MCADSV and contributing members have created service standards for domestic violence, sexual violence and batterer intervention programs, which have been adopted by service providers, the Department of Social Services and the Department of Public Safety.

MCADSV has created and maintains the only monthly service reports to document the number of women, men and children served; and has written and distributed a library of original training materials, manuals and other publications to assist advocates in their work.
