Support MCADSV this #GivingTuesday, Uniting Missouri to End Rape and Abuse

This Giving Tuesday, November 28, our supporters have an opportunity to be a part of a national effort to support local charities and nonprofits by making a gift to MCADSV. Giving Tuesday is a promotion in the vein of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday to take the Holiday spirit and extend it to supporting causes you care about.

Gifts to MCADSV support a wide range of projects including public policy advocacy, and leadership opportunities for student interns and executive directors of local domestic and sexual violence organizations.

For more than 35 years, MCADSV has worked with lawmakers at the federal and state level to develop public policies necessary to protect the health and safety of victims of domestic and sexual violence. Our public policy work has been—and will always be—focused on the needs of survivors and supporting the service providers that assist them. MCADSV’s dedicated public policy team is a fixture at the state Capitol, where we advocate for funding, enhanced protections for survivors and increased accountability for perpetrators of domestic and sexual violence.

The work to unify those who want to end rape and abuse requires leaders with a diverse set of skills and talents. MCADSV’s Intern Resource Network is a web-based resource that is a clearinghouse of information on sexual harassment for students in internships, their campus advisors and best practices for employers working with students.

MCADSV’s focus on leadership development continues to expand, and the Patricia Duggan Robb Leadership Fund supports the leadership development opportunities of MCADSV’s member organizations and allies. This fund supports activities such as MCADSV's Directors’ Academy, Leadership Institute, People of Color Roundtables and other leadership development activities.

We represent the voices of Missouri’s survivors. We ensure their stories are heard, and that systems respond appropriately to one of the most pressing social justice issues of our time—domestic and sexual violence against women, men and children.

Join us in our efforts by donating this Giving Tuesday. Follow MCADSV on social media, share our posts, and use #GivingTuesday to spread the word. Together, we can end rape and abuse in Missouri at mocadsv.org/donate for Giving Tuesday and every day.
