Sexual assault Order of Protection forms now available
The long wait is over. The official state forms for sexual assault Orders of Protection are now available. You can download copies from the Office of State Courts Administrator's (OSCA) website.
Missouri laws were changed in 2015 to allow sexual assault survivors to obtain protection orders. That process should be easier now that the official forms are available.
Advocates should note that there is a very small amount of space on the forms for survivors to detail why they need the order. As always, additional pages can be added for survivors to tell their stories and receive the protection to which they are entitled.
