Please mark your calendars for the following annual surveys. For several years, all domestic violence programs have participated in Domestic Violence Counts, the national one-day census of those served by domestic violence programs.
Save the Dates: 2012 Census of Domestic and Sexual Violence Services Provided
Because sexual violence services are typically provided in a non-residential setting and some programs might not serve a sexual assault victim each day, Sexual Violence Counts lasts for one week rather than one day to ensure a representative count.
- National Domestic Violence Counts day begins at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, September 12 and ends at 8:59 a.m. on Thursday, September 13. For more details, see NNEDV’s website.
- MCADSV’s Sexual Violence Counts week begins at 8 a.m. on Monday, September 17 and ends at 7:59 a.m. on Monday, September 24. MCADSV will send guidance and related materials to member programs.
